The Japan Studies facility of the University of Pittsburgh, in collaboration with the Asian Studies Center has created this dynamic set of lessons that explore how Japan has influenced and been influenced by Asia and the world culturally, socially, and politically. Module-based learning units divide the material to allow you to explore Japan through the visual and performing arts, economics, history, language usage, politics, social issues, and music. The web site japanpitt.pitt.edu states the following, "Places, Images, Times and Transformations." We noticed that the website said " 100 Views of New Tokyo." It also said " This project made possible through the generous funding by the National Endowment for the Humanities and by the Japan Iron and Steel Federation and the Mitsubishi Endowments at the University of Pittsburgh." The header had Japan Module as the highest ranking optimized keyword. This keyword is followed by University of Pittsburgh, Japanese Culture, and Japanese History which isn't as urgent as Japan Module. The other words japanpitt.pitt.edu used was Japanese Language.
